Sara and Mark got married on Valentine’s day at Statham Lodge Hotel in Lymm, Cheshire. The colour scheme for the wedding was a mix of pastel shades including pink, lilac, peach, mint green and cream.

We used silk flowers for their wedding bouquets, buttonholes, ceremony flowers and reception centrepieces. I love that they are able to keep the bouquets and buttonholes as a memento from their wedding day. They also chose to buy our beautiful silk flower heart to hang on their wall at home.

Sara’s bouquet was a beautiful selection of luxury artificial roses, hydrangea, lavender and peonies in soft pastel shades. And her bridesmaids had a smaller version of the bridal bouquet.

We provided ivory and pink rose buttonholes for the groom and groomsmen, and a mini  rose buttonhole for the page boy. Jacket corsages of ivory roses were designed for the ladies to wear.

The very lovely Sarah and Rich got married at Thornton Manor, a beautiful wedding venue in the Wirral. The colour scheme for their wedding was yellow and navy blue.

We used a variety of different yellow wedding flowers to create lots of texture including roses, spray roses, alstromeria, solidago and freesia. To add hints of navy blue we incorporated blue eryngium thistle into the arrangements and used navy ribbon to bind the bouquets.

Sarah’s wedding bouquet had a mix of ivory roses, yellow roses, alstroemeria, freesia and eryngium with eucalyptus foliage. The stems of the bouquet were part bound with navy blue ribbon and ivory lace.

The bridesmaids had a similar mix of flowers in their bouquets but with just yellow flowers and no thistle. The bright yellow hand tied bouquets worked beautifully against the bridesmaids navy blue dresses.

The groom’s buttonhole was a single ivory rose with mini, yellow spray rose and eryngium thistle to match the flowers in the bride’s bouquet. The groomsmen were each given a single yellow rose with eucalyptus greenery.

Paula and Andrew got married at Sandhole Oak Barn, a gorgeous Cheshire wedding venue and perfect setting for a vintage rustic styled wedding.

The colour scheme for the wedding flowers was dusky pastel tones with lots of texture in the designs. Their rustic wedding flowers included a natural mix of roses, gypsophila (baby’s breath), spray roses, thistle, seed heads, lisianthus, sedum and waxflowers teamed with thlaspi, rosemary and eucalyptus foliage.

Paula’s bouquet was a hand tied, textured mix of blush pink Sweet Avalanche roses, gypsophila, astrantia, spray roses, scabious seed heads, eryngium thistle, stallion chrysanthemum and dusky pink sedum. The stems of the bridal bouquet were bound in natural hessian, and finished with ivory lace and pearl pins.

They were very fortunate with the weather and had a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony at Sandhole Oak Barn. There is a lovely wooden pagoda for the wedding ceremony which is set against the amazing lake backdrop.

For the ceremony, the bride and groom’s chairs were dressed with hessian bows and we added a pretty cluster of blush pink flowers and greenery to the centre of each bow.

The ceremony table was decorated with small glass jars filled with delicate clusters of flowers.

If you are looking for colour theme ideas for your wedding day, how about the Pantone colour of 2015, Marsala – a dusky, wine red. Marsala is a beautiful colour that can be mixed with ivory, cream, dusky pink, raspberry, even burnt orange or sage green. It has a sense of richness and luxury, mixed with a natural earthiness, perfect for an autumn or winter wedding.
