I loved working on this pretty winter wedding at Peckforton Castle just before Christmas! If you are looking for inspiration for your own winter wedding then please take a look at these frosty arrangements and wintery bouquets.
The colour scheme for Melissa & Adam’s wedding was a mix of white and ivory with hints of silver and dove grey to reflect the season. We used beautiful ivory roses, spray roses, lisianthus, large blooms and gypsophila with a selection of foliage including senecio (dusty miller), eucalyptus, white thlaspi and trailing fern.
The bridal bouquet was an elegant hand tied of ivory roses with diamante and a collar of silvery grey senecio foliage.
The bridesmaids had a similar design but with a few more varieties of flowers, including spray roses and double lisianthus.
Their wedding ceremony took place in the Chapel at Peckforton Castle, we dressed the pew ends with a small cluster of white and ivory flowers tied with a dove grey ribbon bow.
At the front of the chapel and on either side of the altar we displayed tall vase arrangements on white plinths. Each arrangement featured hanging crystals and glass baubles with tea lights.
Their wedding reception was in the beautiful Drawing Room, we decorated the top table with a collection of silver mercury glass candle stands with ivory pillar candles and silver votives filled with clusters of flowers.
Each guest table was dressed with a tall vase arrangement displayed on a round mirror, decorated with pillar candles, petals and crystals.
