Pam and Tim had a gorgeous winter wedding at luxury wedding venue Peckforton Castle, a stunning castle wedding venue in Tarporley, Cheshire. Their colour scheme for the wedding was red and ivory mixed with a hint of light ice blue. Their ceremony and reception took place in the Great Hall which features a beautiful tiled floor, large fireplace and a wonderful entrance arch which is perfect for decorating.
Pam’s bouquet was a large teardrop design of red and ivory roses, orchids, hypericum berries and delicate greenery. Teardrop and shower bouquets work perfectly will larger, full skirted wedding gowns but can also be designed in a narrow trailing style to suit more form fitting wedding dresses.
Her bridesmaids each carried a smaller hand tied bouquet designed to co-ordinate with with the red and ivory bridal bouquet. Their bouquets included a mix of red and ivory roses with red hypericum berries.
We decorated the Great Hall at Peckforton Castle for their wedding ceremony, with tall vase arrangements in shades of white, ivory and red. The tall glass vases were displayed on white plinths along either side of the aisle. This style of decoration works perfectly in this grand setting and really add to the wow factor as you enter the room.
We also had our friends at Perfect Weddings involved with the venue dressing, they work with us to provide stylish chair covers and fabric drapings. I love the romantic ruffle chair hoods with diamante buckles, they create a much softer, elegant look than the chair bows.
The wedding breakfast also took place in the Great Hall so the tall vase arrangements which had been on plinths were then used as table centrepieces. Each vase arrangement was displayed on a large mirror with tea lights in glass holders.
The long top table was dressed with small vases filled with clusters of roses and gypsophila along with pillar candles and tea lights.
