The lovely Jeni and Nick got married at St. James’ church and had their winter wedding reception at The Midland Hotel in Manchester. The colour scheme for their wedding was teal, navy blue and ivory with hints of deep purple and pink.
Jeni wanted natural, textured bouquets and arrangements with seasonal flowers to suit the winter time. We chose a selection of roses, blue eryngium thistle and viburnum berries, purple lisianthus, orchids and deep pink spray roses mixed with other suitable flowers and greenery.
For the church wedding ceremony Jeni had a wrist corsage of roses, lisianthus and orchids designed on a pearl bracelet. She also then had a beautiful hand tied bouquet for photographs at their reception venue. Her bridal bouquet had a gorgeous mix of roses, eryngium, lisianthus, spray roses and berries with eucalyptus foliage.
The bridesmaids had similar hand tied bouquets in shades of ivory, navy blue and dark purple.
For the groom’s buttonhole I designed a cluster of flowers which matched the selection we used in the bride’s bouquet. The Best man, Father of the bride and Father of the groom each had a single ivory rose with a small purple lisianthus flower and the Ushers each had a single ivory rose.
Their flower girl was given a silver star wand decorated with silk flowers, and a matching silk flower circlet for her hair. And their page boy had a matching silk flower buttonhole.
At their wedding reception at The Midland Hotel in Manchester we provided natural wreath arrangements for each table centrepiece. Each table arrangement had a lovely mix of roses, eryngium thistle, berries and hydrangea and featured a glass hurricane vase and pillar candle set in the centre.
It was a pleasure to provide the flowers for them both and it was so lovely to receive this kind message from them.
“Just wanted to say a big thank you for the gorgeous flowers that you did for our wedding day. We had so many comments from guests about how stunning the flowers were; and how they were perfect for a winter wedding.
From the initial consultation you were able to take my ideas; and turn them into something even better than I could have ever imagined.
Thank you once again.”
