It’s always a pleasure working at the stunning Arley Hall wedding venue in Cheshire, and it was lovely to work with Rebecca & Ernstjan to create the flowers for their wedding day. The style for the day was elegant country garden, with a subtle colour mix of ivory, blush pink, dusky pink and mauve which worked beautifully with the decor in Arley Hall.
Rebecca’s wedding bouquet was a cascading teardrop shape bouquet including a mix of roses, hydrangea, astilbe and stocks with eucalyptus foliage.
The bridesmaids each carried a hand tied bouquet designed to match with the bride’s bouquet, with a just hint of dusky pink and more ivory and champagne flowers.
Rebecca & Ernstjan’s wedding ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Church in Great Budworth, an incredibly beautiful church and the village itself is the perfect setting for a country garden wedding.
We decorated in the church with simple pew end arrangements and large pedestal arrangements placed at the front. The arrangements included a mix of hydrangea, roses, spray roses, blooms, limonium and waxflower. We love to add special floral details around your wedding venue, especially in the entrance area and other spaces where guests are likely to mingle during the day. This delicate eucalyptus garland and clusters of pastel roses worked perfectly to decorate across the top of their welcome sign and we also created a matching corner swag to dress the gorgeous table plan frame.
In the reception room at Arley Hall they decided to have a mix of high and low centrepiece arrangements on the tables. The gold candelabra displays each had a selection of small vases and tea lights arranged around the base and the matching low posy arrangements also had a selection of tea lights to add lots of candle light around the room.
The top table was decorated with a long flower garland of roses, hydrangea and blooms with mixed greenery. Pillar candles on gold stands were also placed along the table to co-ordinate with the other gold details on the guest tables.
Their wedding cake was provided by Caroline’s Cake Company and we designed a floral cake top and cascading sprays of ivory and blush flowers to reflect the elegant country garden theme.
