I’m off on a little holiday tomorrow for a week, but before jetting off I have a lovely wedding from the summer to share with you!
Back in June I had the pleasure of providing lots of gorgeous white wedding flowers for the lovely Laura and Ben. Their wedding was at the fabulous Belle Epoque in Knutsford, Cheshire.
As well as a few of my own photos I also have some beautiful images kindly sent to me from the very talented Ayesha Rahman Photography.
Wedding colour scheme: white, ivory, dove grey and navy blue
Bridal bouquet: Laura wanted an elegant, modern hand tied bouquet including roses and peonies with a folded aspidistra leaf collar. For a hint of sparkle we added silver diamante into a selection of the rose heads.
Bridesmaids bouquets: To co-ordinate with the bride’s bouquet they each had a hand tied bouquet of white peonies with the modern, folded leaf collar. The stems had a dove grey ribbon binding to match the bridesmaids dresses.
Flower girl: A pretty silver star wand with central fresh ivory rose. The wand was decorated with ivory and navy blue ribbon trails.
Buttonholes: For Ben and the groomsmen they each had a single ivory ‘Avalanche’ rose with ivy leaf and decorative silver wire detail
Corsages: Delicate spray of ivory roses and ivy leaves, decorated with silver wire and diamante detail. To be worn on the jacket.
Table plan/ Wishing tree: Hire of our large free standing table plan tree decorated with pearls, crystals, hearts and fairy lights.
Reception decorations: For the guest tables Laura wanted a mix of centrepieces, including candelabras with floral arrangements, birdcages and goldfish bowls. Each centrepiece was displayed on our large, round table mirrors and decorated with crystals and silk petals.
Table candelabra: Each candelabra was decorated with draping pearl garlands and featured an arrangement of white peonies, roses, aster, lisianthus, Anastasia blooms and mixed greenery.
Birdcages: On two of the guest tables we used our large cream birdcages with an arrangement inside of peonies, roses, lisianthus and mixed greenery.
Goldfish bowl: Large peony flower floating in water, with acrylic crystals in the base and grass swirls around the bowl.
Wedding cake: Beautiful ivory wedding cake from Sugar Couture in Altrincham. For the top I created a small arrangement of ivory Avalanche roses and white lisianthus with diamante detail.
Gift bouquets: Modern, hand tied bouquets to present to their parents. Flowers including white cymbidium orchids, green anthuriums, white oriental lilies, pink peonies and Anastasia blooms.
I loved working on their wedding flowers, and The Belle Epoque is a beautiful venue to work in.
I wish them both every happiness together.
Thank you again to Ayesha Rahman Photography for the gorgeous photographs
