Blush Pink and Ivory Wedding Flower Inspiration

Blush pink and ivory is an elegant and romantic colour scheme for weddings, it has been a popular choice with many of the couples I have worked with over the years. If you are looking for inspiration for your wedding colour scheme or if you are hunting for wedding flower ideas to co-ordinate with a blush pink and cream wedding theme here is a selection of different designs I have created previously.

Bridal Bouquet

Elegant silk wedding bouquet designed with roses and peonies.

If you are planning a spring or summer wedding this colour combination works beautifully, especially with all the summer garden style flowers that are available, such as roses, peonies and hydrangea. Blush pink and ivory flowers can also be a lovely choice for a winter wedding when arranged with wintery foliage and frosty pine cones.

If you have chosen blush pink dresses for your bridesmaids to wear you may want to consider having a slightly different colour balance in the bridal bouquet to the bridesmaids flowers. It often works well having a little more colour in the bride’s bouquet to stand out against a white or ivory dress and then include less of the blush pink and more ivory flowers in the bridesmaids bouquets.

For the Groom and groomsmen buttonholes you can either have a small cluster design which includes flowers in both blush pink and ivory or if you prefer you may want to choose blush pink for the groom and ivory for the groomsmen so the groom’s buttonhole stands out from the rest.

Blush rose buttonhole

Blush pink and cream bridesmaid bouquets

Cream and blush pink roses, blush peonies and white gypsophila.

Matching blush pink and ivory silk flower arrangements can be made for your wedding ceremony and reception, such as a long and low arrangement for the registrar table and centrepiece designs for guest tables. If you are having white or ivory table cloths on the tables then you may want to include more blush pink flowers in the arrangements so there is more impact of colour in the room. Or if you have other blush pink details on the tables, such as napkins or wedding stationery then you may prefer to just have a hint of blush pink in the arrangements and use mostly ivory flowers.
