Katie and Tom had a beautiful winter wedding at St John’s Church in Guilden Sutton and a reception at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire. The colour scheme for the wedding was white and navy blue with hints of red. We used a mix of roses, calla lilies, ranunculus, bouvardia, orchids, ernygium thistle, viburnum berries and hypericum berries.
For the bride’s bouquet we created a hand tied design including a mix of ivory and red flowers, red hypericum berries, navy blue eryngium thistle and viburnum berries.
The bridesmaid bouquet was a simpler, smaller version of Katie’s wedding bouquet with more ivory flowers and just a hint of red and navy blue.
The Groom and Groomsmen each had an ivory rose buttonhole with navy blue eryngium thistle and a hint of red berries.
The ladies wore jacket corsages of ivory spray roses and natural greenery.
For their wedding ceremony we dressed the church with red, white and blue floral arrangements. Two pedestal displays were placed on either side of the altar along with garlands on the windows with candles and pew end bunches decorating along the aisle. We also dressed the Font with mixed greenery, berries and thistle.
At Peckforton Castle they had their drinks reception in the Long Gallery which we decorated with white wooden lanterns for extra candle light.
For their wedding reception in the Drawing Room we decorated each guest table with tall candelabra centrepieces. Each featured a natural arrangement of ivory roses, lisianthus, berries and eryngium thistle with mixed greenery.
The top table was decorated with a long garland arrangement and pillar candles in glass hurricane vases. We also created a matching display along the fireplace mantel with ivory candles, flowers and greenery.
