Blush and burgundy is one of my favourite wedding colour palettes, especially for autumn and winter weddings. This beautiful collection of wedding flowers were designed for a rustic chic styled wedding at Abbeywood Estate.
The gorgeous blush roses and burgundy berries were arranged with a mix of champagne Vendella roses, dusky pink roses, astrantia, white ranunculus and mixed greenery, creating a natural and textured look.
The glass house at Abbeywood Estate was decorated with trailing greenery garlands of ivy, eucalyptus, ruscus and olive, with hints of burgundy berries nestled within the garland. We placed lanterns along either side of the aisle along with scattered leaves and petals.
The ceremony table was simply decorated with small rose gold vases filled with clusters of champagne, ivory, blush and burgundy flowers.
After the wedding ceremony the glasshouse is transformed ready for the guests to enjoy the wedding breakfast later in the afternoon. The guest tables were decorated with two different centrepiece designs. To create more impact in the room we used tall gold candelabra dressed with trailing ivy on half of the tables, each with rose gold vases filled with flowers placed around the base.
The other table centrepiece design also featured a selection of beautiful rose gold vases with clusters of flowers, these were arranged in a cluster in the centre of the table with glass cylinder vases and floating candles. The candle light spread throughout the room with the addition of festoon lighting draped across the ceiling (provided by Hipswing), created a romantic and cosy atmosphere. We have a large selection of hire items available for adding candle light around your venue, including candelabra, glass cylinders, log slice tea light holders and lanterns, please take a look at our venue styling pages for more information.
The bride & groom had sourced a fabulous collection of different gin bottles to use for their table names and table plan display. We arranged the bottles on rustic stacked crates dressed with trailing ivy and clusters of berries.
Their beautiful wedding cake and brownie towers were created by the lovely Jo’s Couture Cakes. This rustic style and natural fruit decoration worked perfectly with the style of their wedding day.
