There are many different styles and designs of table centrepieces to choose from for your wedding decorations and I wanted to go through some different options and tips for choosing the best designs to suit your style, wedding venue and budget.
Tall vase arrangement
If you want the flowers to be a big feature at your wedding then these tall vase displays are definitely worth considering. Particularly if your reception room is a large space, and especially if the decor is quite plain as well. We have clear glass cylinder vases and martini available to hire for displaying the floral arrangements which can be in fresh or silk flowers. This is one of the more expensive centrepiece designs, particularly if you would like fresh flowers, as they need a large volume of flowers so can be quite costly. If you are working to a budget it may be worth looking at hiring silk arrangements for the large displays and having fresh flowers for other decorations.
If you are getting married at a stately home or castle venue then you may want to consider elegant candelabra for your table centrepieces to co-ordinate with the period decor. The candelabra can be supplied simply with candles, dressed with greenery or for a more high impact design, they can be decorated with floral arrangements at the top and/ or base. This style of centrepiece is also perfect for autumn and winter weddings to create a more cosy, romantic atmosphere with all the twinkling candlelight.
For a more whimsical and informal style our artificial wedding trees are a great option for your table centrepieces. And again if you have a venue with particularly high ceilings, then these will really make an impact in the space rather than getting lost in the room. Our white wisteria trees create an elegant woodland feel and work well in barn venues, country manors and more modern hotel suites. For a romantic, fairytale inspired wedding I would definitely recommend the pink blossom trees. Again these trees are suitable for many different types of venues, and perfect for high ceiling venues like The Monastery Manchester, Peckforton Castle, Colshaw Hall and Owen House Barn.
I would recommend this style of centrepiece if you are working to a budget but would like some taller, high impact displays.
Natural log stands
If you are looking for a more rustic style centrepiece then these natural log stands would be a wonderful choice. The floral arrangements can be designed in fresh or silk flowers and in a round or unstructured style.
These tall, elegant stands go perfectly with our geometric range of decorations and also would work well for an art deco themed wedding. They can be dressed with fresh or silk flower arrangements in a round style or a more natural unstructured arrangement depending on your theme. This centrepiece design, like the tall vase displays is one of the more expensive options due to the high volume of flowers, but is less expensive to hire the silk flower arrangement than choosing fresh flower displays of this size.
Depending on the styles you like and budget for your wedding decor it often works well having a mix of high and low table arrangements spread across the room. This give you decoration at different levels and the low designs are generally less expensive so it can even out the cost a little as well.
There are lots of different options for low arrangements to decorate your guest tables and many couples prefer to have low designs on every table, it is completely up to you.
Lantern centrepieces are a great centrepiece option if would like lots of candlelight in your reception decor. They can be used on their own in the centre of the table simple with some trailing greenery or petals around the base, or they can be displayed with a floral ring arrangement in fresh or silk flowers. We have white wooden lanterns, clear glass hurricane lanterns and elegant rose gold lanterns available to hire.
Cluster of vases
For a relaxed and informal display this cluster centrepiece design of flowers and floating candles works beautifully, and suits any style of venue. The flowers can be arranged in a more natural style for country garden or rustic barn weddings, or in a neat, formal arrangement for a glamorous, modern look. We have lots of different vases and varying heights of glass cylinders available to hire so you can create the perfect centrepiece design for your wedding day, take a look at our venue styling pages for more information.
This style of arrangement has more floral impact than some of the other displays and can be made with fresh or silk flowers. The floral arrangements can be designed in a variety of containers including rustic wooden cubes, gold footed bowls, silver stands or clear glass cylinders.
