Our first wedding of 2016 took place at one of our favourite wedding venues, The Monastery Manchester! It was a pleasure to work on all the beautiful winter wedding arrangements for our lovely bride and groom, Katie & Scott.
The colour scheme for their wedding was ivory, blush pink, dusky pink and burgundy with natural elegant styling. We used a gorgeous mix of flowers and foliage including roses, spray roses, skimmia, viburnum, eryngium thistle, senecio, brunia, waxflower and astrantia.
Katie and her bridesmaids had beautiful hand tied wedding bouquets containing a textured mix of dusky pink roses, burgundy spray roses, skimmia, viburnum berries, astrantia, eryngium thistle and waxflower, mixed with thlaspi, eucalyptus and senecio foliage.
For the groom’s buttonhole we chose a dusky pink Quicksand rose with smaller burgundy spray rose and simple foliage.
The mum’s had elegant jacket corsages of dusky pink vintage roses and waxflowers.
For their wedding ceremony and reception decorations we created natural candelabra arrangements in blush pink, dusky pink and burgundy with hints of navy blue eryngium thistle and berries. Each candelabra was also dressed with pearl garlands and we added tea lights around the base of each when they were placed on the guest tables for extra candle light.
