Alex & Chris got married at the beautiful Eaves Hall, earlier this year. It’s a fabulous Lancashire wedding venue, in the Ribble Valley near Clitheroe. Alex and Chris were very lucky and had the extra bonus of the grounds being covered in snow! It was the most perfectly, gorgeous setting for a winter wedding.
The colour scheme for the wedding was white, ivory and dark purple with hints of grey and silver.
Alex had a beautiful, textured hand tied bouquet in white, ivory, purple and soft grey. The flowers included roses, lisianthus, ranunculus and brunia mixed with eucalyptus foliage. The bouquet was adorned with subtle crystal and diamante details.
Alex’s bridesmaids were wearing deep purple dresses, their bouquets were designed to match Alex’s bouquet but were slightly smaller and contained fewer varieties of flowers. Their bouquets included ivory roses, purple lisianthus, grey brunia and eucalyptus with subtle diamante detail.
To make the Groom’s buttonhole a bit different to the others we kept Chris’ neutral with an ivory rose and a hint of the grey brunia, the groomsmen each had a single ivory rose with purple lisianthus and eucalyptus foliage.
For the wedding ceremony Alex wanted simple and elegant decorations to create a wintery feel. We provided delicate clusters of roses, chrysanthemum, eucalyptus and lisianthus which were tied on the aisle chairs with ivory ribbon. To co-ordinate with the crystal garland on the top table and to add a hint of sparkle we hung crystals from each ribbon bow.
The ceremony table was decorated with small, decorative glass vases filled with small clusters of roses, lisianthus, chrysanthemum, eucalyptus, white asparagus fern and brunia. Crystal garlands were displayed on the front of the table, along with ‘frosted’ white branches lay along the floor at the front of the table.
The top table decorations for the wedding breakfast included small vases filled delicate clusters of winter wedding flowers, hurricane vases with ivory pillar candles and glass cylinder vases to display the bride and bridesmaids bouquets. The front of the table was decorated with long crystal garlands and a mix of hanging crystals.
The silver candelabras on each guest table were dressed with crystal garlands.
