Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance do I need to order?

Ideally I recommend ordering 6-12 months in advance of the wedding date. I require a minimum of 12 weeks for creating custom orders, if you are getting married in less than 12 weeks I would suggest looking at the designs on our shop which have a processing time of 6-8 weeks.

How long will the flowers last?

Artificial flowers can last for years, and I have received messages from brides several years after their wedding letting me know they still have their flowers displayed in their home. If you are going to have them on display after the wedding please keep them away from damp and from direct sunlight. I would recommend a light dusting every now and then to keep them clean.
Before the wedding I would suggest storing the flowers in a plastic storage box, and ideally stand the bouquets in a vase inside the box so they are upright.

Do you have a shop where we can see the flowers?

We don’t have a shop sorry, if you would like to see the quality of the flowers you can purchase a sample pack with a selection of flowers and greenery including colours and flowers to suit your wedding. Alternatively I would suggest buying one of our buttonholes or corsages from our online shop.

Do you deliver and setup venue decorations?

We no longer offer ‘On the day’ venue dressing services, your order will be posted out to you in advance of the wedding. We are happy to design arrangements that can be simply placed on to tables or into a vase so that the decorations can be setup easily by yourself or wedding venue.

DO You accept returns?

I accept returns for our standard designs on the Laurel Silk Florist shop, but please contact me within 14 days of delivery. If you are sending back the item, it must be returned within 21 days of delivery.
Please note I can't accept returns for custom or personalised orders, unless they arrive damaged or defective. But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
