Cathy and Danny got married at St. Martin’s Church in Ashton on Mersey and had their wedding reception at The Bowdon Rooms. The colour scheme for the wedding flowers was white and green with a hint of dusky lilac, accessorised with lace, pearls and silver mercury glass.
They wanted a natural and romantic feel to the bouquets and reception decorations, including a variety of foliage mixed with the flowers. Some of the white and green wedding flowers we used included roses, antonov blooms, hydrangea, lisianthus, gypsophila and dendrobium orchids. These were mixed with Memory Lane dusky lilac roses, snowberries, eucalyptus, asparagus and pittosporum greenery.
Cathy’s wedding bouquet included a variety of flowers, with lots of different textures. The adult and child bridesmaids had smaller bouquets, including a similar mix of flowers to the bridal bouquet.
To decorate St. Martin’s we placed a pedestal arrangement at the front of the church and lace bows on the ends of the pews. Each bow had a single lilac rose and small cluster of gypsophila arranged in the centre.
For the reception decorations in the Ballroom at the Bowdon Rooms we provided tall candelabra dressed with draping pearl garlands and a mixed flower arrangement. Each candelabra was displayed on a mirror plate with tea lights arranged around the base for extra candlelight.
On their head table I created a long floral garland with roses, blooms, gypsophila and trailing asparagus fern. Pillar candles on silver mercury glass stands were arranged along the table as well as glass cylinder vases to display the bouquets during the wedding breakfast.
In the entrance area we provided a pair of floor standing candelabra, along with dressing the staircase and pillars with silk flower garlands and the fireplace with flowers and candles.
Congratulations Cathy & Danny! Wishing you both every happiness in your life together xx
